The Bay Area has experienced a series of storms, resulting in varied rainfall totals across the region, with San Francisco receiving 2.14 inches and other areas recording between 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Meteorologist Roger Gass indicates that while some rain may linger into Friday morning, clearer conditions are expected by afternoon, and warmer temperatures will follow through the weekend. By next week, temperatures are expected to rise into the low- to mid-60s, though a frost advisory remains in effect for certain areas due to chilly Saturday mornings.
A series of storms is making its way out of the Bay Area, leaving behind a trail of showers before giving way to sunny skies.
The region received between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain, with rainfall counts higher in the nearby hills and lower in the valley.
Temperatures will reach highs in the mid- to upper 50s across all areas around San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and Livermore on Friday.
Flood watch had been cancelled in the region, and the wind advisory and high wind warnings were no longer in effect.
