The opening weekend of the new City Lights Theater Company production of Truce: A Christmas Wish from the Great War has been canceled due to a cast member falling ill.
Truce tells the story of a Christmas miracle during World War I, when soldiers called a spontaneous ceasefire to observe the holiday.
Written by playwrights Kit Wilder and Jeffrey Bracco, Truce had its world premiere at City Lights in 2014.
Ticketholders can call the box office at 408-295-4200 for more information on how to exchange their tickets for a new performance date.
