The first Tenderloin homicide was reported around 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, in the 700 block of O'Farrell Street. Officers found a man on the ground, suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Wednesday, Oct. 30, around 6 p.m., police responded to a shooting near Ellis and Jones streets. A man was found lying on the ground and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Also on Wednesday, around 4 p.m., police were called to a building in the 100 block of 7th Street for a welfare check. A man lying on the floor was pronounced dead by paramedics.
In addition, a death in the adjacent South of Market is being investigated as a possible homicide.
