The European Parliament adopted new procedural rules aimed at harmonizing data flow among EU member states by increasing cooperation of data protection authorities and improving dispute resolution mechanisms.
The measure is expected to synchronize procedural rules and rights related to the EU General Data Protection Regulation enforcement and will be further addressed by the incoming European Parliament post the EU-wide election in June.
