""We are making it easier to shop," Kroger Vice President Yael Cosset said in the release."
""And we are offering lower prices and more relevant offers to drive more traffic, which increases the data we use to power our retail media business.""
Kroger and DoorDash are expanding their partnership so customers can order all Kroger groceries for delivery through DoorDash beginning Oct. 1. More than 2,700 U.S. Kroger locations will be available, up from earlier limited offerings of sushi and flowers at select stores. The expansion will include fresh food, household essentials and other items, making Kroger the largest grocer on the DoorDash app. Kroger expects lower prices and more relevant offers to drive traffic and increase retail media data. DoorDash serves 42 million monthly active users and reported record U.S. grocery orders last quarter. Kroger also maintains relationships with Instacart and Uber Eats.
