Dinner at Yosemite's Ahwahnee Hotel is about to get even pricier
""Inspired by historic menus once served at The Ahwahnee, the Dining Room is unveiling a reimagined prix fixe dinner experience that honors the hotel's legacy of craftsmanship, hospitality, and grandeur since its opening in 1927.""
"A sample menu of the new $95 five-course prix fixe features more modern, cheffier dishes: Tajin-infused black diamond watermelon, Dungeness crab meat with a citrus St. Germain whip, duck confit with crispy rice, and roast elk tenderloin."
"The dining room is also offering full vegan menus at both price points, with a sample menu of the vegan five-course prix fixe featuring the same watermelon dish, roasted jackfruit pods, and hazelnut chocolate cake."
The Ahwahnee Hotel at Yosemite National Park will change its dining experience from an a la carte menu to a prix fixe menu beginning April 23. The new menu, inspired by historic offerings, will feature a five-course option priced at $95 and a seven-course option at $125. Dishes include modern interpretations such as Tajin-infused watermelon and roast elk tenderloin. Vegan options will also be available, maintaining the same pricing structure and featuring dishes like roasted jackfruit pods and hazelnut chocolate cake.
