Venezianico, founded by brothers Alessandro and Alberto Morelli in 2017, draws inspiration from the Torre dell'Orologio in Venice, which symbolizes harmony and timeless beauty. Unlike traditional watch collectors, the brothers leveraged a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise 800,000 euros to launch their brand. Their first model, the Nereide, named after a historic submarine, showcases their commitment to fine design and engineering, with multiple iterations and water resistance up to 200 meters. The brand's ethos reflects their passion for watches and Venetian heritage.
We had a passion for watches, but we didn't have the budget to be collectors, Alberto said... But as lovers of design and architecture we thought, Why don't we do something on our own?
The cross at the very top of the Torre dell'Orologio symbolizes harmony and timeless beauty... That knowledge triggered a decision and eventually their brand's logo.
