Vegetarian Lasagna, Hand-Pulled Noodles and Pupusas

In planning for the holidays, my focus is less on tours and more on cooking with family, specifically tackling a rich vegetarian lasagna together.
I'm drawn to Alexa Weibel's vegetarian lasagna Bolognese, which uses walnuts and mushrooms for a hearty sauce, making it a perfect family project.
In addition to lasagna, I'm excited for a hand-pulled noodle night using Vivian Chan-Tam's recipe; wonky noodles are still delicious with the right sauce.
The essence of our holiday gathering will be about family bonding over cooking, rather than the focus being on the outcomes of the dishes.
