According to a new Pew survey, nearly half of US teens are 'almost constantly' online, with varied usage across social media platforms, particularly leaning towards video-based sites.
The Pew Research Center found that 90 percent of teenagers use YouTube, making it the most popular platform, while TikTok is favored by 63 percent, showcasing distinct usage patterns.
There’s a significant gender divide in app usage, with 19 percent of girls claiming to be 'almost constantly' on TikTok, whereas an equivalent number of boys reported the same for YouTube.
Teenagers show a noticeable decline in the use of Facebook, from 71 percent a decade ago to only 32 percent now, reflecting a shift towards platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp.
