Save Space on Your Phone by Offloading and Archiving Apps
Briefly

Both Android and iOS enable you to remove a good chunk of the data and files linked to an app, without actually uninstalling it.
Android calls it archiving apps, while on an iPhone, it's referred to as offloading apps. This allows for saving space without full removal.
To archive an app manually on Android, access Settings, select Apps, tap the app to archive, and confirm. Restoring is equally simple.
Once enabled, the archiving feature handles management automatically, keeping lesser-used apps accessible while freeing up significant space on your device.
