Gemini Live is available to all Android phones - for free. Here's why you should try it
Briefly

In September, Google announced that all English-speaking users on Android would get access to Gemini Live, allowing free-flowing conversations with the assistant at any time.
Now, free users have been looped in, too. On September 30, Google announced that Live is available for all Gemini users, meaning subscription is no longer required.
This is particularly noteworthy because ChatGPT's Voice Mode is currently only available to paid subscribers, with no similar access for free users.
Eventually, both Gemini Live and OpenAI's Voice Mode aim to integrate smartphone cameras to enrich the user experience, but a launch date hasn't been established.
