Over the past year, 26 channels collectively amassed nearly 70 million views from around 900 videos, all leveraging false claims linking various celebrities to Diddy. These channels use shocking thumbnails and fake quotes to lure viewers, often creating a formulaic approach to content creation. Some channels have a history of spreading sensational misinformation, while others are newly created, capitalizing on the current trend to profit from ad revenue.
