Exclusive | Rikers guard saves 1-year-old child choking on Dorito in jail's visiting room: 'The baby was turning blue'
Briefly

I was standing behind the desk and I noticed the baby bent over trying to cry. The baby was turning blue.
She was yelling hysterically that her baby couldn't breathe. My partner and I just focused on the child and getting air back.
At this moment, I asked my partner to open the front door so the baby and I could get air. Once the door is open, I go outside and perform another set of compressions.
I could tell that in a few more minutes if the baby's not breathing the situation is going to be worse. I pushed my pinky down into the child's throat until I felt the chip move.
