AI audio startup ElevenLabs has launched its text-to-speech Reader app globally, supporting 32 languages and allowing users to listen to various text formats such as PDFs, articles, and newsletters.
The app features a range of AI-generated voices, even including those of deceased celebrities, which are claimed to be licensed and enhance the listening experience without sounding robotic.
Available for free on iOS and Android, the Reader app does not deplete credits from ElevenLabs' subscription plan, with plans to introduce a premium version while maintaining a generous free option.
