Apple has introduced a long-awaited feature for users that allows the migration of purchases between Apple IDs, aimed especially at those with historical accounts scattered across platforms like iTunes and MobileMe. This function enables users to consolidate their music, movies, and app purchases into a single account, enhancing accessibility. To use this feature, users must meet specific requirements including having both accounts signed in, two-factor authentication enabled, and ensuring both accounts share the same country/region. Unfortunately, users in the EU, UK, and India are excluded from this option.
Having trouble migrating purchases? It might be because either account is a child account, part of a Family Sharing group, or has pending purchases.
This new feature lets you consolidate those purchases into a single, primary account, eliminating the need to remember multiple logins for favorite content.
