My personal definition of that is modern application development and deployment with microservices, using cloud native technologies that require a new approach beyond traditional metrics monitoring, or state-based monitoring. We are collecting a lot of data types, a lot of events, a lot of signals, so we are able to answer not unknown questions, but what is the overall state of the production environment?
