Principal architects are Krishna Mistry and Anand Jariwala, with Dipal Patel as Architect In Charge. Structural engineering by Kalpesh Shah, civil contracting by Ranchodji, and project management consultancy by Premal Lakdawala. Surat's textile economy spans silk sarees, cotton fabrics, machine embroidery and widespread polyester textile production.
