The project transforms a modern building into an integrated architectural experience, harmonizing with Tianjin's Italian-style district through the extensive use of red bricks.
Inspired by window shades, the architecture employs a cutting technique to introduce gaps into the brickwork, creating intriguing visual dynamics between solid and void.
The combination of red bricks and layered steel plates reflects the spirit of Tianjin as a port city, marrying classical elements with modern industrial design.
With 400,000 customized bricks, the design rebels against traditional forms, emphasizing a functional and intricate spatial layout through meticulous planning and modeling.
