Inspired by Hotel Peter & Paul, Callie Windle transformed plain nightstands using a trompe-l'oeil technique to create the illusion of fancy architectural moldings with shadows and highlights.
Using Farrow & Ball's Parma Gray No. 27 as a base, Windle added darker and lighter shades to mimic trim, achieving a whimsical and dimensional effect.
