House 720 Degrees sits in a secluded valley three hours from Mexico City and operates as a geometric and optical device extending a 360-degree span into a doubled circuit. A central patio creates continuous exchange between interior and exterior, and the house tracks time like a solar clock through shifting sunlight and shadow, framing distant mountains and a volcano by day and focusing inward around a circular courtyard at night. The complex comprises three volumes—a circular main house, a detached studio/guest room, and a rectangular block with its own patio—arranged to preserve vegetation and settle with minimal disturbance. Designed for two families, the layout supports shared use while maintaining autonomy, connects volumes via exterior paths that follow the slope, and turns circulation into an outdoor experience. The circular house spans two levels with living areas on the ground and an open roof terrace above; rectangular service rooms fit within the circular plan while curved walls free circulation and extend as terraces and gardens, with large fold-away windows, privacy screens, and framed views enabling breezy, outward-facing rooms.
