The Sidewinder Is a "Kinder Knife" Under the Guise of a Kinetic Sculpture
Briefly

Designed to function more like a kinetic sculpture than a traditional knife, the Craighill Sidewinder features elegant movement reminiscent of the sidewinder rattlesnake's tracks in the sand.
Kai Williams, one of the designers, was inspired by his childhood experience with manual drafting tools like the parallel ruler, imagining a sword out of the changing linkages.
The Sidewinder knife is aimed at individuals who usually do not carry knives, designed to be a 'kinder knife' both in functionality and aesthetics.
