The Art of the Gift: Julio Torres
Briefly

A good gift is like a bridge between two people—it’s a way of communicating, you are on my mind when you’re not in front of me.
Gifts should be like hugs—if you want to give one and have that kind of relationship with someone, then that’s wonderful. But I don’t like doing things out of expectation.
The worst kinds of gifts are the ones that don’t really say anything about either party. A gift should reflect the relationship between the giver and receiver.
What I like about gifts is that it gives you insight into how that person thinks of you. It’s a nice reflection of their feelings.
