Alwadiya: The Living Pots bridges regional handicrafts and technology by creating biodegradable vessels that reflect the heritage of AlUla. On display at the Raw to Revival exhibition, these pots symbolize a transformation that promotes sustainability and adaptation. Designed using cellulose-based materials coupled with innovative carbon-capturing compounds, the pots invite reflections on the nature of heritage in a changing ecological landscape. Collaboratively developed with LAMÁQUINA and Micaela Clubourg, this project is part of a broader initiative showcasing the interrelation of traditional and digital crafting techniques in responding to local environmental conditions.
