Surreal landscapes, psychedelic techno visions and pop art fairground rides the week in art
Briefly

In 1987, the Swiss artist Andre Heller created Luna Luna, a theme park in Hamburg featuring a carousel decorated by Keith Haring and works by other iconic artists. Designed to bridge avant-garde artists and the masses, it was stored for 35 years and has now been rebuilt in New York.
The exhibition highlighted the evolution of surreal landscapes, showcasing works from classic surrealists like Dali and Ernst alongside contemporary artists exploring uncanny spaces and visions.
With electric dreams as its theme, the exhibition featuring Brion Gysin and Gustav Metzger captures the essence of psychedelic art, pushing the boundaries of techno and visual artistry.
Photographer Lindokuhle Sobekwa's documentary work on drug use in South Africa and Graham MacIndoe's personal reflections on addiction shed light on pressing social issues within the stark realities of their subjects.
