Located in South Korea's Samseon mountain, the Secret Forest pavilion creatively encloses three trees and mirrors the surrounding forest, creating a new landscape. Designed to challenge visitors, it directs attention both inward and outward, promoting a dynamic engagement with nature. As visitors traverse a circular pathway, they can view the trees and their connection to the broader forest, leading to a redefined notion of a vantage point. Constructed primarily of Conen steel for durability and form, its design embodies a natural aesthetic, complemented by reflective stainless steel to enhance the immersive experience.
The Secret Forest pavilion introduces a unique interactive experience by enveloping three trees, offering visitors a new vantage point to view and connect with the surrounding landscape.
By mirroring the forest within the pavilion, a new spatial relationship is formed, allowing visitors to experience both isolation and reconnection with nature through a circular path.
