Sao Paulo Home Reimagined With a Brutalism + Brazilian Feel
Briefly

In transforming the JB Apartment, RUA 141 Arquitetura aimed to preserve the original architectural language while introducing vibrant new elements for a cohesive modern aesthetic.
The renovation maintained the distinctive burned cement flooring and incorporated a bright yellow sliding door, creating a playful contrast that diversifies the neutral backdrop of the space.
To soften the brutalist feel, Brazilian-designed furniture like the polished Nero Marquina marble Bank Table and Jabuticaba Lamp were included, adding refined touches that enhance comfort.
New design elements, such as a glass door connecting the terrace to the social area and thin metal benches with integrated planters, enhance functionality and aesthetic vibrancy.
