SANAA brings alaia's sculptural fashion identity to rue du faubourg saint-honore flagship
Briefly

Alaïa has opened a flagship store at 15 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, designed by SANAA architects in collaboration with Pieter Mulier. This store represents a blend of art, design, and fashion, moving away from conventional retail to encapsulate the brand's identity in an intimate space. Featuring transparent rooms and a curved glass facade, the interior aligns with Alaïa's signature designs, reinforcing its legacy while complementing their other Parisian locations. This store fulfills Azzedine Alaïa's vision for a presence in this historic area.
At the heart of the ground floor are four transparent, tubular rooms bathed in soft pink tones, each dedicated to a specific collection.
The flagship's architecture embodies an interplay of art, design, and fashion, reaffirming the identity of the fashion house.
This boutique, designed by the Tokyo-based architects, completes the trilogy of Alaïa's Parisian spaces while preserving the intimate and familial spirit.
The project creates an enveloping ambiance highlighting Alaïa's craftsmanship, with podiums showcasing each garment as a standalone work of art.
