The Ligar Bay Bach encourages a sense of adventure through its layout, resembling a journey through tents in a forest. Stacked glass pavilions offer unobstructed views of the coastline and ocean, prioritizing separation and privacy.
Materials like concrete, wood, and steel, sourced locally to minimize environmental impact, break up the building mass through depth, transparency, and reflectance. Design considerations address thermal bridging and passive cooling with skylights and door placements.
The top pavilion of the Ligar Bay Bach divides into two spaces with a glass-lined central hallway, housing the primary bedroom and bathroom. The design creates a seamless indoor-outdoor transition, offering stunning views from multiple angles.
