Kitchen of the Week: A Kitchen Palette Inspired by a Tapestry from Plain English - Remodelista
Briefly

Plain English has introduced the Colour Collection No.5, inspired by faded verdure tapestries from the 18th century. This new palette comprises eight paint shades showcasing soft, nature-inspired hues that evoke imagery from wooded landscapes and historic parklands. Developed by art director Sue Skeen alongside co-founder Katie Fontana, this collection aims to create a harmonious experience throughout interlinked spaces, including kitchens and dressing rooms, available exclusively to Plain English clients. The collection emphasizes a deep appreciation for history while presenting modern elegance.
"We were looking for a completely new colour story. Sue shared some wonderful old tapestries... we loved the idea of working with these worn colours to weave together our own story."
"These new shades are all about the things you see along the way - mossy tracks, bosky meadows, high-walled courtyards..."
