"Jericho House sits on a long and narrow plot, made up of a succession of 'layers' starting with the front courtyard and 1900s main house, followed by the back garden, and finally an old carriage house leading to an enclosed tiled terrace."
"Text description provided by the architects."
Jericho House occupies a long, narrow site organized as a sequence of layered spaces. A front courtyard precedes a circa-1900 main house, establishing a historic threshold at the street. A back garden functions as a transitional outdoor room that links the main house to a former carriage house. The carriage house provides access to an enclosed tiled terrace, creating an interior/semi-enclosed extension of the garden. The linear arrangement produces a clear progression of spatial experiences and framed views along the plot, preserving historical elements while creating distinct outdoor and semi-enclosed areas.
