Blair Moore, a daring interior designer, took on the challenge of transforming a vacation cabin in Mountain Village, Colorado, for a Los Angeles family. The homeowners desired a cozy retreat that captured their unique bohemian style, which they showcased in their LA home with vintage band tees and leather jackets. Moore visited their home to better understand their lifestyle and aimed to translate their personality into the cabin's decor, moving away from the traditional log cabin aesthetic typical of the area to one that felt contemporary yet cozy, maintaining the family's distinct edge.
"I wanted to see inside their home and the way they lived. I really wanted to get inside their skin," she recalls.
"They were always in these spectacular leather jackets and vintage band tees, and their home reflected that same energy-charming, lived-in, and full of personality, with an edge that felt undeniably them."
