Dorion is a fictive older decorator, a character representing a young Brooklyn-based interiors firm founded by Peter Dolkas and Michelle Ficker in 2020.
Peter Dolkas and Michelle Ficker, who have a passion for furniture and objects, met at ELLE DECOR and later returned to work on a Brooklyn brownstone's interiors.
Dolkas studied costume design and prop styling in NYC before completing his master's at Sotheby's Institute of Art, while Ficker studied at NY School of Interior Design.
