I. M. pei's brutalist everson museum of art renovated by studio MILLINS
Briefly

The renovation of the East Wing of the Everson Museum of Art by MILLIØNS honors I.M. Pei's original design while significantly enhancing public engagement with ceramics.
MILLIØNS' comprehensive redesign goes beyond the original vision of a café, expanding access to artistic ceramics and promoting their practical use within daily life.
By utilizing two-story glass towers, the architects draw in natural light and create an open environment that invites interaction with the museum's ceramics collection.
The architects aimed to engage with light and shadow, utilizing reflective materials to enhance the interplay of brightness in the mostly below-grade East Wing.
