"The installation introduces a five-meter-diameter ring, supported by a system of slender columns and tension cables anchored to cast-in-place foundations, emphasizing visual lightness despite its one-ton weight."
"The waterfall becomes the primary device through which sound, movement, and atmosphere are structured, establishing a continuous relationship between the built environment and sensory perception."
"Through the coordination of structure, water systems, and material surfaces, Between Sky and Water establishes a spatial condition that enhances the sensory experience of the interior."
Between Sky and Water is an architectural installation featuring a suspended five-meter-diameter ring that generates a continuous waterfall. This project emphasizes the interaction of water, structure, and material within a 312.17 sqm area. The ring, supported by slender columns and tension cables, appears visually light despite its weight. A concealed hydraulic system circulates water, creating a constant cascade that influences the space's acoustic and spatial qualities. The design incorporates curved walls and reused vegetation, focusing on translating natural phenomena into abstract spatial elements.
