The Cabin of Maze, a collaborative project by Advanced Architecture Lab and Wiki World, redefines traditional architectural norms by creating 13 interconnected rooms spread across an island. This distinctive retreat is located in the Wuhang Ganlushan Culture Creativity City, merging solitude with communal living through a long corridor that functions as both a passage and a maze. The use of carbonized timber enhances its environmental harmony while facilitating a playful experience of discovery and adventure, inviting visitors to explore the space freely and enjoy the challenge it presents.
The Cabin of Maze redefines living experiences through 13 interconnected rooms that create a playful sense of discovery and adventure while challenging traditional architectural norms.
The project is designed to intentionally disorient residents, providing a unique experience that makes guests feel they have entered a maze rather than a cabin.
