Austria names Fatima Hellberg to run Mumok, Vienna's museum of Modern art
Briefly

Hellberg, who is Swedish, has curated exhibitions at Tate Modern, ICA London, Malmö Konsthall, and CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts. She studied at Oxford and Royal College of Art.
Chosen from 24 candidates, Hellberg presented an outstanding concept with clever approaches, as stated by Andrea Mayer, Austrian state secretary for arts and culture.
Mumok's collection includes Pop Art, Fluxus, Conceptual Art, Vienna Actionism, classical Modernism, and contemporary art.
Hellberg aims to continue the institution's tradition while introducing new methods to engage the collection and audience, focusing on reflection, experience, and confrontation.
