AI + the age of choice
Briefly

AI offers unlimited opportunities for creators, prompting the question of what is worth making and telling. The responsibility of creation lies with humans, as AI serves as a tool that requires direction. AI can assist in storytelling and design by combining existing ideas, yet it cannot think independently. The critical distinction is that while AI can generate content, it relies entirely on human creativity and intent to guide its output, revealing that human input remains essential in the creative process.
AI, at the moment, is not making; it is waiting for us to tell it what to make.
Humans can invent, discover, and create. We make computer LLMs (AI) that can assist us in this pursuit, but an AI is not the catalyst; we are.
AI can combine (ie, steal) many ideas, but still requires input from the user to achieve a desired outcome.
Just as a paintbrush does not make a painter, AI does not make a Designer.
