A 100-Year-Old Bungalow Fixer-Upper's Reno Started the Day the Owners Moved In
Briefly

"We bought the home in 2016 and knew that the first thing that needed to be done was the kitchen. It had hardly any kitchen cabinets, no appliances, and three doorways leading into it! It was a floor plan nightmare. The day we got the keys to our home is the day we started demo on the kitchen."
"At this point in time, we did not have children, so we had the time to work on these projects and didn't feel as pressured to finish by a certain date. However, the washing of the dishes in that bathtub is the worst, so that kept us moving along QUICKLY."
"While we were undergoing the kitchen renovation, we also did some 'light' work in the adjoining rooms. We took down wallpaper in the dining room and living room and gave those spaces fresh coats of paint along with some additional architectural features, like wainscoting."
