In this RQ, we investigate whether BiasPainter can effectively trigger and measure the social bias in image generation models.
We adopt BiasPainter to calculate the image bias scores and find a large number of highly biased generated images, showing examples in Figure 1. BiasPainter also helps assess word bias based on image bias scores, identifying top three biased prompt words for gender, age, and race.
