HoloViz and Bokeh for Neuroscience - HoloViz Blog
Briefly

The completion of a two-year grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's Essential Open Source for Science program has enhanced the Bokeh and HoloViz ecosystem, addressing the interactive visualization challenges in neuroscience and biomedical research. Bokeh serves as the backbone for creating web-based interactive visualizations, while HoloViz provides advanced tools for handling large data sets and building dashboards. This initiative produced example workflows to tackle visualization issues which led to substantial improvements in library functionalities, promoting accessibility and collaboration among data scientists without relying on costly proprietary solutions.
Our project took a two-pronged approach. First, we created example workflows that demonstrate how to tackle common visualization challenges in neuroscience.
The Bokeh and HoloViz ecosystem has significantly evolved, enhancing both visualization capabilities and accessibility for data scientists and researchers in biomedical domains.
