During the NFL offseason, CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys has embraced a unique opportunity by collaborating with Nike to design his custom cleats, the 'Vapor Pro 1 CeeDee'. This marks Lamb as a pioneering player in this regard since Emmitt Smith, the last Cowboy to do so. The design showcases Lamb's love for sneakers, with features like a snakeskin-like base and Nike Airzoom technology. As he looks forward to future collaborations, this launch is seen as a significant milestone in his career and a personal reflection of his childhood memories associated with the color green.
Nike actually brought it up to me. They came up to me and said they like my creative ideas. They gave me an opportunity to meet with the creative design people.
I've always been a sneakerhead. I wasn't always financially able to get them, but I knew a lot about them, all of them.
Green is one of my favorite colors. Green was the color of my Peewee team, just bringing back all the memories and just seeing this now just reminds me of my childhood.
I'm looking forward to working with Nike to get more out, but this is a great start.
