NFL Hall of Famer criticizes Dallas Cowboys for passing on Derrick Henry

After the game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team couldn't have afforded the two-year $16 million deal Henry received from Baltimore. On First Take, Shannon Sharpe pushed back against those claims saying the Cowboys should've at least contacted Henry. "The better question I have is did you even inquire? How do you know if you did not show any interest in Derrick Henry? Derrick Henry lives in Dallas," said Sharpe, "You mean to tell me if you offer Derrick Henry $6 million, $6.5 million, there's a chance he takes that deal cause $8 million in Baltimore is the equivalent of $6.5 million cause there's no state income tax."
