During the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show at the Dallas Cowboys-Washington Commanders game, the 77-year-old came out on stage dressed in the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit.
Before transitioning into a performance of her 1980 song 9 to 5, Parton called out to the audience, "Well I know everybody's off eating turkey and dressing, and I know you ain't working today, but I bet we got a lot of 9-to-5'ers out there! Am I right? I wrote a song for you. "
During the halftime show, Parton also performed several songs by Queen We Are the Champions and We Will Rock You before concluding the night with a Happy Thanksgiving! to cheers from the audience.
