Qatar has initiated a project to supply Syria with 400 megawatts of electricity daily, vital for alleviating the nation's chronic power shortages. This effort includes the provision of natural gas through Jordan, a collaborative venture involving the United Nations Development Programme. The energy generated will be distributed across various Syrian cities, including Damascus and Aleppo.
