As a leader in nonprofit education about crypto, I highlight both the excitement and risks associated with this growing interest. The narrative that crypto is solely for affluent, young investors is misleading; diverse demographics are now involved, with a notable number of women and older individuals entering the space, showcasing the potential for democratization and empowerment through blockchain technology.
Nearly as many crypto users work in construction (12%) as do in technology (14%). Many do not belong to higher income brackets.
