A judge in July referred Wright to Britain's Crown Prosecution Service to consider whether he should be prosecuted for perjury following a trial in London's High Court.
The Crypto Open Patent Alliance took legal action against Wright to stop him suing bitcoin developers, claiming he lied extensively and forged documents on a grand scale.
Despite overwhelming evidence showing he did not write the foundational text of bitcoin, Craig Wright continues to assert that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, even filing contentious lawsuits.
Wright was accused of contempt of court for breaching an injunction by filing a new lawsuit against Square Up Europe Limited related to his claims about bitcoin.
