This article narrates the experience of a blockchain security specialist who, faced with the theft of a private key and a sweeper bot on a crypto wallet, rallied a community to recover $90K in staked AVAX. With the staking period about to expire, and normal transactions thwarted by the sweeper bot, the specialist used their expertise in bot warfare to devise a solution. Leveraging knowledge of Avalanche's P-Chain, they successfully executed a counter-bot strategy to rescue the substantial funds, highlighting the importance of community and knowledge in blockchain security.
