The Gion Von Albertini coffee shop, the first outpost of KURA-GE, is situated in a repurposed retail location in the Marais district. The design emphasizes a harmonious blend of Japanese craftsmanship alongside Parisian architectural sensibilities. Arising from a collaboration between architects Moyesoa and Remy Aznar, the coffee shop aims to create a dialogue that enhances the spatial experience and engages with its urban context. The architecture’s attention to materiality and tectonics offers patrons a unique experience while reflecting the cultural interplay of the influences at play.
