Dollar General Recalls Coffee Product Due to Potential Glass Contamination

The recall affects 8-ounce containers of the Clover Valley brand of instant coffee, each with 'best by' dates of 12/13/2026. The products were sold exclusively in Dollar General stores in the lower 48 U.S. states between July 9-21 of this year.
Ingesting glass fragments may cause injury to the consumer, and these injuries may include damage to teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date in connection with the recalled coffee products.
The Clover Valley brand spans hundreds of food and beverage product types within Dollar General stores, being part of Dollar General's private-label brand portfolio.
