Right-handed reliever David Robertson and the Texas Rangers are in agreement on a one-year contract in the $11-12 million range, pending physical, sources tell ESPN.
He's coming off a season in which he went 6-6 for the Mets and Marlins with a 3.03 ERA. He had 14 saves for the Mets in 2023 but struggled after a trade to Miami. He had a 5.06 ERA in 22 games for the Marlins, who eventually replaced him as closer.
